Why would the court care one way or the other?

(10,258 posts)...even listen to his story about not being able to get a bond? That's his problem, not the court's problem.
If he doesn't post the bond by the dealine, the court just moves to the next step which I guess would be letting the state start taking posession of his stuff to cover the judgement.
Why did he bother writing a letter to the court explaining his money problems? And why would the court even bother reading it? Just move on to taking possession of his stuff.
