Rory Kennedy: RFK Jr.'s campaign could 'lead to Trump's election,' which would be 'catastrophic' - MSNBC Reports

A new documentary series, “The Synanon Fix,” covers the California-based drug rehab center that devolved into a cult-like group run by a militaristic and charismatic leader. Rory Kennedy, who produced the series, joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss "The Synanon Fix" as well as the presidential bid of her brother, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. - Aired on 04/01/2024.

I've thought the same thing, he's nothing but a spoiler, has no chance of winning. Why bother?? Rhiannon12866 Apr 2024 #4
I really don't think RFK, Jr. is going to be that much of a factor. Mr. Evil Apr 2024 #3

Good point, especially since he's his father's namesake. He can never live up to his father's legacy. Rhiannon12866 Apr 2024 #6
And he's too weak of character to forge one of his own. GiqueCee Apr 2024 #7
And he has all the wrong beliefs, he's an anti-vaxxer, for one Rhiannon12866 Apr 2024 #8

He's completely dragging his family's name through the mud. And for what? He doesn't have a chance in hell of winning, and he knows that. All he can do is play the spoiler. The only thing I can figure is that someone is paying him big bucks that he can't get from family inheritance. It just blows my mind how he's so eager to destroy his family's name and legacy.

Not to mention, the Kennedy family is totally against his pointless efforts.

Maybe with some republican voters as many of them are anti-vaxxers among other dubious things and beliefs. I don't know of many, if any, Democrats that are rabid anti-vaxxers or anti-science (medical research and treatments included). Plus, he's a fucking kook. The only reason he's getting any coverage is his last name. He would appeal more to marginal republicans than any Democrats.

... if the entire Kennedy clan were to threaten to disown him, he might smarten up and abandon this pitiful ego trip. There can be no doubt that he is mentally unstable; wallowing in inherited wealth can be so stressful, not to mention living in the shadow of an assassinated father. Tough act to follow.

... is staggering stupidity without a nano-particle of fact-based research to back it up. Without vaccines, polio would be running rampant, as would small pox, measles, mumps, and dozens of other potentially lethal viruses and diseases.
The goldfish syndrome is endemic in this society where instant gratification takes too long. Everyone's forgotten that Vladimir Putin has committed billions of rubles to undermining America in every way possible, and fabricating stories to make the room-temperature IQs among us eradicate themselves is high on his list. And he's very fortunate to have so many Republicans eager to help him achieve his goals.
