We all know how little impulse control he has, and his behavior has to be kept under control in that courtroom somehow.

Although it evidently wasn't working today when he got a talking to for gesticulating and muttering something at one of the jurors.

8. He just can't help himself, medication or not. An actual gag or strait-jacket may be the only solution which wouldn't happen

And, as we've seen, his lawyers can't control him, so they might just as well accept the consequences, he could end up being jailed, away from anyone he can't help attacking. They have said that there's a cell through a door at the back of courtroom where incarcerated defendants wait for trial.
