I must say I've been pleasantly surprised by the trial. (Of course I'll withhold judgement till the verdict) captain queeg May 22 #1
I agree on all points, with this judge, everything has run smoothly and above board. He obviously knows his stuff Rhiannon12866 May 22 #2

But the judge has been impressive, standing fast against all trumps shenanigans. I was surprised how quickly the jury was seated. Overall it has not been the circus that trump tried so hard to cause. Especially when they come back with a guilty verdict some of my faith in the American way will have been restored. Then I guess we’ll see how the election shakes out, because I doubt the other trials will even commence before then. And I think Joe will win handily.

And sticks to the law. I'm guessing that TFG, as usual, has had a lot of input in his defense and it sure looks like this is going to sink him. They really had nothing persuasive to present. And we keep hearing that the jury is paying close attention, so I'm desperately hoping that they conclude with the only correct verdict possible. *fingers crossed*

As for the election, I keep telling myself that TFG got millions fewer votes every time - and though I'm horrified that a criminal who attempted to overthrow the government is allowed to run - I can't imagine that President Biden, who has done so much for the people and is our most experienced POTUS in history - won't win with even a bigger margin.
