Aren't other levels of the judiciary supposed to abide by a code of conduct? This current Supreme Court--especially Thomas and Alito-- seems to care less about abiding by any ethical standards. For an institution that's supposed to be the highest court in the land, they are setting a horrible example.

Chief Justice Roberts has served as an enabler for these two terrible excuses for Justices.

I wish Democrats could make this a campaign issue. It should appeal to those of us who want accountability for each branch of government. I would hope some political independents would also favor this. Also, the Congress must have the audacity to hold hearings and if necessary, subpoena these Justices. Sadly, it doesn't appear enough Congressional interest exists. It should be a bi-partisan issue, but I realize today's Republicans seem to have little interest in advocating for ethics for all levels of the judiciary.

But both Thomas and Alito have ignored this requirement, Thomas on any case that involves the insurrection since his own wife participated, and now Alito for the same reasons since there have been flags flown outside his home that support the same issue, but he only blames them on his wife. The Democrats asked the Chief Justice to meet with them on this issue, but he declined.

The Supreme Court does believe laws apply to them.
They are a criminal enterprise.

Maybe assigning them to write all the opinions as punishment and include, "I shall not........" 100 times on each opinion.
