People are beginning to see how the political, economic, and financial underpinnings of their lives - stable currency, predictable future, safety net, affordable insurance and food, belief in the future, government services - weather forecasts, disaster relief - are all melting down, an amorphous dissolution of their very existence. I assess risk, from socks to finances, locale to food quality, and it's difficult to tease out the path forward.
