Bessent knows better than to f--- around like this. Trump may not know better, but Bessent definitely does.

The markets aren't stupid. If J. Powell resigns because he was harassed into resigning, economists, analysts and investors will interpret that as Powell being fired, and they will respond as if Powell has been fired. T and Bessent really are being "too cute" for their own good.

2. He's a complete jerk, like other TFG nominees - no doubt following TFG's orders

If Powell is forced out, the country will be in trouble. And has mentally deficient TFG forgotten that he nominated him in the first place?? However, he was nominated for a second 4 year term by President Biden, is that TFG's problem??
