One cannot be ‘feckless’ absent the means to stop Trump.
The low approval of Democrats is the consequence of the fear, ignorance, and stupidity of the voters who put Trump in office; indeed, the fear, ignorance, and stupidity that gave control of Congress to Republicans, depriving Democrats the means to stop Trump.
Disagree with Senator Murphy as well – Democratic policies are hardly ‘incrementalism’; as usual, the problem is perception, Democratic policies have always pursued responsible governance and sound public policy. The problems we face are the consequence of Republicans abandoning those policies when put in control of Congress and the WH by the voters; the voters have only themselves to blame.
