With a population of over 2 million combined with all the destruction, they need 600 trucks a day. Uncle Joe Jul 2025 #1

shame for the bomb strike overkill and the food traps with gunmen killing the starving Palestinians who showed up to get food.

Who does such a cruel thing? Not many historical instances of such cruelty happening...and we've witnessed it.

Tragically the same can be said for our corporate media, they largely kept the American People in the dark while only presenting one side's point of view.

I believe our one sided corporate media propaganda for over the past year and half contributed (I can't say exclusively) but it definitely contributed to our muted response to this ongoing easily visible tragedy, had they just seriously covered it.

The people that did understand and risked everything to protest against this catastrophe and the inhumanity were too easily labeled as anti-semitic, and demonized.

I can't help but believe there is plenty of blame to go around, and as far as I'm concerned this is one of the darkest chapters in American History.

The Western press too was complicit. It was clear from the beginning. There was a study done of the BBC'S coverage (haven't seen one for US Media but the NYT would be a good candidate) and it found glaring inequality and bias in the coverage. Not surprising to me, I stopped using the BBC as a reliable source on the Gaza War a long time ago. I used to highly respect the BBC.

There are reasons for this of course and none of them are laudatory or right. But it's the world we live in. Unfair.

As for Israeli TV, just like ours during the Iraq war, they presented our version of "shock and awe". And like us wirh Iraqi suffering, Israelis do not want to know about Palestinian suffering. It's just not on their radar, actually. Even now, they are claiming the pictures of starving babies are fake. Denial is strong in Israeli society.
