After an abysmal jobs report, Donald Trump fired the Bureau of Labor Statistics commissioner. This is an independent agency that tracks vital data about jobs, inflation, and our economy.
Erika McEntarfer, the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, was ousted after revised jobs data released today showed higher unemployment in May and June. Revisions to job reports are common.
