How does a behavior expert interpret the U.S. and Russia leaders' body language? - DW News

Not much was said about the outcome at the meeting between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Body language and behavior expert Greg Hartley assesses the summit from the point of view of his area of expertise.

Professor of international policy Joshua Shifrinson gives more analysis on what U.S. signaled to Russia in the way it welcomed its leader. Putin didn't get a reception with military honors, instead he was greeted by a B-2 flyover. This long range stealth bomber can be equipped with nuclear weapons, yet another display of America's military power and long reach. - 08/16/2025.

Remember Trump loves a parade that is a show of force. Bomber flyovers is an old Russian tradition that is not friendly.
