Trump vowing lawsuit against California redistricting is 'unbelievably hypocritical' - MSNBC Reports

The White House is hosting Indiana Republican lawmakers today as part of Trump's redistricting push. In the meantime, Trump is vowing to file a lawsuit against California for a redistricting map that would favor Democrats. Former Sen. Jon Tester and Mark McKinnon, former adviser to George W. Bush, join Chris Jansing to weigh in. - Aired on 08/26/2025.

I suspect they will wait until after the California proposition 50 is voted on, and if it doesn't pass, they will say states rights, and it is fine, and let Texas proceed. However, if the California redistricting proposition passes they will be hard pressed to block it for California, but not for Texas. What kind of convoluted argument could they use in that case?
