The Supreme Court’s conservative supermajority this week effectively greenlit racial profiling during ICE sweeps in Los Angeles, undermining the Fourth Amendment’s ban on unreasonable searches. Individuals can now be targeted if they “look” like they don’t belong—a move Melissa Murray calls “after-the-fact justice.”
