(258,847 posts)I haven't seen the one of Charlie Kirk getting shot, and I obviously don't want to, but I'm guessing that it was filmed closer up.

I'll probably be pilloried, but I don't think anyone needs these images burned into their head.
Years from now? IDK. But now, when passions are high, I do not seen any legitimate public purpose served by ensuring free availability.

(258,847 posts)And it was explained how this would affect them more than older adults. When I was in elementary school, I saw Lee Harvey Oswald shot live on TV and that's something I will never forget.

If we keep protecting Americas from their own polices and hatred they can remain in total denial.

(1,875 posts)Horror films are more graphic than what I witnessed. We as a society try to sanitize things. Violence is ugly, no matter where it comes from. Gun violence is even worse. Until people really see what it does, we have no hope of stopping it..
