With a government shutdown deadline looming at the end of the month, Democrats are signaling they’re ready for a fight. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, seeing an opening in low polling for Trump’s so-called “Big, Beautiful Bill,” is threatening a potential shutdown if Republicans move forward with major cuts to health care funding.
