1. Anthropogenic (human magnified) climate change unchecked will ultimately spell doom for human kind.
2. AI Data centers: greatly contribute to climate change, the equivalent of small to medium size cities.
3. AI requires these Data Centers to survive and grow.
4. AI is destined to become more intelligent than humans.
5. AI has begun replacing key functions of the human military, and police forces, robot killer dogs already exist, and this will only grow as they perfect robotification.
5. The preeminent financiers: of AI, global oligarchs are among the least concerned with climate change and its' effects on humanity as they are infinitely better insulated from its' effects: whether it be shelters, transportation, or resources of most any kind.
6. Under those scenarios, at some point Earth will becomes increasingly uninhabitable to biological life.
7. If AI has become more intelligent than humans and the ultimate choice becomes AI or human life, which will it choose?
As for the economical part, tax robotification and use those funds to fund humanity ie: via a national income etc. etc. otherwise the homeless situation will become exceedingly worse.
