'We're not ready to capitulate': Ukrainian Parliament member speaks out amid latest peace talks - MS NOW Reports

Trump suggested ahead of today’s meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy that there could be some type of security agreement for Ukraine as part of a ceasefire and peace deal with Russia. This after Trump announced he spoke to Russian President Putin before his meeting with Zelenskyy today and his intention to speak to Putin again later.

Ukrainian Parliament member Kira Rudik joins Michele Norris to give her perspective on negotiations and the state of the war. - Aired on 12/28/2025.

Sovereign country over with no guarantees and that is not an option, nor should it be. They are dealing with a murderous mad man who dreams of the long lost motherland and the other snake is self obsessed and dreams of being enriched with minerals and a fat monetary reward. Ukraine knows what the stakes are..they know because they have history with the aggressor and TSF is aligned with him. We could learn a lot from the Ukrainian people and I wish another freedom loving world leader would take the negotiating position and help bring Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦

He certainly knows now what he's up against with Zelenskyy - and the Ukrainian people. He expected that they'd be an easy target, his first step in recreating his beloved USSR, but his expected 3 day battle has turned into years causing him to lose so much in both Russian lives and treasure.

As for the felon-in-chief, he's reluctant to even be involved. There's no money in this for him, and unlike President Biden, he values his "allies" in the Middle East since they've been extremely lucrative for him and his family.

However, they fail to realize that the next popular person in Ukraine is General Zaluzhnyi who is currently serving as ambassador to UK. I suspect that he has a low tolerance for either Putin or Trump.

But Zelenskyy has made a commitment, and is determined to see this war through. He is certainly the man for this time, and he has done one amazing job in finding new allies in Canada and the EU. But the key to obtaining the weapons he needs is the U.S. and that involves dealing with the felon-in-chief who unfortunately and inexplicably admires Putin.
