Federal officials have arrested an accused January 6 rioter who has been featured in several news reports, as well as a Biden campaign ad. 5. Why can't the news media tell the whole truth?

They make it sound like the FBI dropped the ball after online sleuths (plural) identified him.

How many online sleuths identified him as somebody else? Hundreds?

Just how easy is it to properly identify someone wearing a huge gas mask only seeing their eyes?

Are they really hinting at "Look how incompetent the FBI is under Biden's leadership"?
