Trump DOUBLES DOWN as NATO Prepares RED LINE - Legal AF

Secretary of State Rubio met with Danish and Greenlandic foreign ministers, but the meeting ended with Denmark's foreign minister stating "it's clear the President has this wish of conquering Greenland." Greenland's Prime Minister reiterated it's "not for sale."

Multiple polls show overwhelming American opposition: 86% oppose using military force, 75% oppose any takeover attempt, and only 17% approve of acquisition efforts. Brian explains the constitutional limits: the President cannot act unilaterally—any treaty requires two-thirds Senate approval, and only Congress can declare war or acquire territory. Modern international law also prohibits such territorial seizures.

The estimated cost is $700 billion—more than half the annual U.S. defense budget. Shant notes NATO Article 5 would require all NATO members to defend Denmark against U.S. aggression, potentially triggering World War III. Brian concludes this is likely a distraction from other issues like Epstein revelations and Trump's economic failures. - 01/17/2026.

I completely agree with you, he's never observed norms and laws, he got away with Venezuela so why not? Rhiannon12866 4 hrs ago #2

in NYC and demanded that all monthly rental fees now be paid directly to him, even though he's not the title owner.

My own theory: This is "Harry/Leona Helmsley Envy". Trump used to buy properties with bank loans that he didn't pay back. He wished that he had the impressive property portfolio of the Helmsleys. (It's like the game of Monopoly where you try to own as many properties on the board as possible.)

Sure, he talks about "buying" Greenland, even if it's using OUR money for the purchase. But it's more fun (to him) to be a swashbuckler pirate and just plunder and not surrender the land back.

Yeah, there's Putin and NATO to consider, but I have a feeling that it's part of his desire to just take/take/take.

And in his job as president, he has all this money at his disposal. He's never been good with money, he inherited a fortune yet went bankrupt six times. And he's already gotten away with so much, both impeachments failed, he figures he can get away with anything he wants since Congress has yet to stop him.
