... were of Scrooge McDuck swimming in his money. Even as a kid, I figured that was just a comic book fantasy - not really possible. But having seen these visualizations of stacks of money of the uber-wealthy, it is clear to me now that it is no longer a fantasy. These rich folks can literally swim in pools filled with their money.

As a child I didn't get the meaning of the scooby snacks or the van being filled with smoke and up on blocks in SCooby Doo. I remember a bugs bunny cartoon where bugs was up in the air from an explosion and a spaceship goes by and a cosmonaut say "do svidaniya Amerikanski".
