Video Shows Border Patrol Shooting ICU Nurse as DHS Story Falls Apart - Decoding The Rhetoric
Breaking news out of Minneapolis. A Border Patrol agent shot and killed Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse and U.S. citizen, during a federal operation in south Minneapolis.
Federal officials claim Pretti approached agents with a gun and violently resisted. But multiple bystander videos appear to show something very different: Pretti filming officers with his phone, being pushed, pepper-sprayed, taken to the ground, and shot while on the pavement.
This is now the third shooting involving federal agents in Minneapolis in just 17 days, and it comes one day after the largest labor strike Minnesota has seen since 1934.
