.... golden ballroom. Three times the biggest.

How many people could even clear the first checkpoint? The front gate.

I know most of us would NOT get through that first check.

I'm nothing special. Never been in trouble with the law. One or two driving tickets. In 63 years. Third generation of military service, WWI, WWII, Vietnam (me- Medic), Iraq, both son and daughter each served 4 years.

All five with Honorable discharges. Fifty-six years of marriage to my wife.

None of us, everyday citizens, would make it through the front gate.

Or write a big enough check to get into the ballroom.
