Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met President Ilham Aliyev in Qabala during a visit to Azerbaijan. At the visit, Zelenskyy said he is ready to meet with Russian representatives for trilateral peace talks in Azerbaijan.
Zelenskyy arrived in Azerbaijan on Saturday with a team of experts to share Ukrainian military expertise, he said in a post on Telegram. "I began my visit to Azerbaijan with a meeting with our expert team, who are sharing Ukrainian experience in protecting the sky," he said. Ukraine and Azerbaijan also signed documents signaling deeper co-operation on defence, security, energy and humanitarian issues. - 04/26/2026.
