Trump Attempt to Give HIMSELF IRS IMMUNITY EXPOSED!!! - Legal AF
The DOJ just handed Trump a $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" settlement — and buried in the fine print is a clause that permanently bars the IRS from auditing him, his family, and his businesses on previously filed returns.
The one-page addendum says the IRS is "FOREVER BARRED AND PRECLUDED" from pursuing any pending or future examination. Signed by acting AG Todd Blanche. So — is this legal? Can it survive this presidency? And what does it mean when the person who controls the DOJ also gets to settle his own tax case?
