Michael Popok provides an update in the $10 billion dollar defamation case brought by Trump against the BBC, and how Trump's lawyers bungled it already by not agreeing to halt the discovery process while the BBC's motion to dismiss was considered by the Court, and now are facing 47 subpoenas including about his finances, his cabinet, the DOJ the Jan 6th committee etc. as the BBC tries to prove that Trump Caused the Insurrection! - 06/05/2026.

That Trump had engaged in an insurrection. This was determined in litigation in a district court to which Trump was a party. That finding was not refuted in the U.S. Supreme Court decision of Trump v Anderson. This fully litigated finding of fact should weigh heavily in the BBC case.

The Colorado Supreme Court affirmed it in their ruling.
