John Oliver discusses chocolate, cocoa farming, and, of course, some facts that will make Halloween a little weird.
And here's a "bootleg" version of the show which includes John's initial comments on recent events including: The continuing Israel/Hamas war; the new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, and his opposition to abortion/women's rights and LGBTQ rights; Argentina's severe economic crisis and their runoff election for president between their finance minister, who is blamed for the crisis, and a candidate who seeks to abolish the state in favor of unfettered free markets, wears superhero costumes, includes his beloved "cloned" dogs in his campaign, dislikes the Pope, admires Trump and waves chainsaws around in public; a Fox "newscaster" who was kicked out of the Girl Scouts. It won't last long, as usual:
