Trump supporters tend to be very sure of their "facts", but when you scratch the surface and ask a couple of follow-up questions it becomes obvious that these "facts" have no basis in objective reality. Miranda Scholl breaks it down on Rebel HQ.

1. These people all seem like they're wasted on heavy drugs

which is not the case for most of them.

The only other thing I've seen produce this level of stupefaction is extreme sleep deprivation.

I don't think most of them need deprogramming. I think they need time away from their phones, someplace they can relearn how to eat when they're hungry and sleep when they're tired.

Even cult deprogrammers know you can't begin to talk to anyone until they're nourished and rested.

I don't know what the long rterm solution might be,maybe timed lockouts on social media.

Something needs to be done.
