Related: About this forumSupreme Court Makes FATAL DECISION in Trump CRIMINAL CASE - Meidas Touch
The MAGA right wing of the Supreme Court is HOLDING DEMOCRACY HOSTAGE FOR 114 days in counting, as they sit on the Trump criminal prosecution IMMUNITY decision, guaranteeing that Trump wont be tried in DC by Special Counsel Jack Smith before the election, if at all.
Michael Popok examines the courts potential tricks up their sleeves including calling for REARGUMENT and new briefing, and or giving the trial judge instructions to conduct further briefing and proceedings before allowing the criminal trial to proceed. - 06/23/2024.

(8,413 posts)1. There is no way the Supreme Court can declare
immunity for a single and particular ex-president and make it retrospective.
Not without showing how biased and corrupt they are, anyway.
And making it for ANY president currently in office, opens the door for Biden to do a lot of illegal acts.
(Next minute - Mar-a-Lago gets flattened by some heavy US Army ordinance. Biden smiles, mentions 'Presidental Immunity'!)
Ethics - SCOTUS needs some.

Not to mention, this is clearly unconstitutional, no citizen, no matter who they are - or used to be - is "above the law."
