I'll put my qualifications AND Knowledge as well as thousand of colleagues against this barely knowledgable twerp any day. Not to mention my (and their) non-exploitative motives. 5. Facts out of context to make it sensational with the implication that public health has always been "corrupt" or failing

to follow basic scientific and precautionary principles--rather than the incredible breakthrough and challenge faced for the development of both Salk and Sabin polio vaccines, control programs and its exportation throughout the world. This jerk probably doesn't even know how smallpox was eradicated and the challenges it faced (and if he did, would surely focus on the occasional failure to fully control in third-world settings where timely training of local volunteer health workers and resources were insufficient. And worse, this is all for clicks and bookings on Megyn Kelly and other Dr. Oz-type books along with Youtube sponsors. He knows nothing about wild versus vaccine-induced polio but is conflating the entire concept. I'd bet money he could not even tell you which countries still have polio and of them, which are rare vaccine-shed cases versus wild poliovirus. Hell, I'd bet he could not even tell you how many wild polio strains there are--and of them how many have been eradicated. His ignorance is hidden from lay people watching these videos for crude entertainment by only stressing the issues that result in an emotional response--and thus keep them watching. I only wish that did not remind me of the tactics of someone else we all (or most of us) loathe. This is not education for laypeople-- it is profiteering with minimal information presented in a highly biased context. I hate to think what half-truths he's put out about COVID-19, but I could imagine.

If you share the contempt for public health and are happy to disparage and demean all those poorly paid physicians, PhDs, veterinarians, virologists, vaccinologists, immunologists and other epidemiologists who dedicate their lives and are thus in favor of this jerk adding to the suspicion and doubt around CDC and other public health groups in this country, then I don't know what to say to you. But, I'd ask you to not promote such charlatans.

My father was head of a major department at the University of Michigan medical school. I was old enough to be aware of much of the controversy about the vaccines. I asked you a perfectly reasonable question and you answered with rudeness and hyperbole. What have I ever done to you to deserve that?

I didn't give you a two sentence response. I spent time answering you in detail concerning this video and the click-bait artist who made it. His understanding of epidemiology, immunology, virology, vaccinology and yes basic infectious disease principles is ridiculously limited. As is his understanding of medical advances history.

When we are THIS close to having the likes of RFK JR heading HHS and Dr. Oz overseeing CMS, I'd think you'd be joining me in wanting to root out this clickbait BS. It was not my intent to offend you, but I hope you can come to see my intense concern about the impact of some fo the content on YouTube and its impacts.
