Trump's Super Bowl Interview instant disaster! - Luke Beasley

Luke discusses Trump's interview with Bret Baier.

====================

little breaking news story Donald Trump
just had a part of his interview uh
interview Premiere I should say on Fox
News the pre Super Bowl interview that I
guess is going to have more parts of it
shown on Monday but this is a tradition
that presidents sometimes sit down
before the Super Bowl and as you can
imagine immediately got into disastrous
territory for Trump being asked about
Elon musk's recent actions let's just
Dive Right into this first clip he gives
a response that should be frightening to
us all to find it and I've had a
great help with Elon Musk who's been
terrific bottom line you say you trust
him trust Elon oh he's not gaining
anything in fact I wonder how he can
devote the time to it he's so into it
but I told him do that then I'm going to
tell him very soon like maybe in 24
hours to go check the department of educ
a he's going to find the same thing then
I'm going to go go to the military let's
check the military we're going to find
billions hundreds of billions of dollars
of Fraud and Abuse but I campaigned on
this Brett you and I so very edited
interview especially because it was more
of a
10minute preview of the full interview
but remember that Trump is currently
saying CBS should be taken off the air
currently has a lawsuit wanting $20
billion from CBS because they edited a
kamla Harris interview in a way that he
didn't like so the inconsistency laid
bear there with Brett
Bear and it's not fair um but again he's
saying yes here elon's going to keep
doing what he's doing no sign of
stopping and Department of Education
next he's also going after the NIH on
Friday the Trump Administration spread
alarm among University with an
announcement the National Institutes of
Health is cutting billions of dollars in
indirect costs for biomedical research
funding quote this action will slow
advances for millions of patients who
desperately need critical breakthroughs
and imperil the US's position as the
world leader in biomed Innovation we
talked about in a different segment
today the assault on the Consumer
Financial Protection Bureau Elon
indicating he wants it eliminated
completely
rip the very institution as I noted as
many people have who protects consumers
has turn billions and billions of
dollarss to Consumers who were defrauded
who protects consumers from powerful
people like Elon Musk so Trump goes Elon
doesn't have anything to gain he's not
getting a
paycheck and that's the sort of the
ridiculous defense they give which is
elon's just doing this out of the
goodness of his heart
really you really believe that because
one of the first institutions he went
after after the US
Aid
was the organization that protects us
from people like
Elon a little back and forth that I want
to read to you before going to other
Clips with Mike Johnson a reporter said
so just to be clear unelected government
officials are dangerous but unelected
billionaires making policy decisions is
fine and Mike Johnson goes that's not
what I said and a reporter said right
but it's what's happening you're handing
major government functions to a private
citizen with no oversight is uh if he
was in the EPA you'd be calling him a
deep State bureaucrat Mike Johnson says
I think you're misunderstanding the
situation the reporter said no I think
I'm just describing it out
loud yeah they've been screaming that
the Deep state is unelected
bureaucrats is federal Workforce
members and those are the ones it's bad
it's bad cuz they're there from one
Administration to another doing their
job and that means that they could
leverage some power to stop what Trump
really wants those people are bad
inherently that term bureaucrat
unelected bureaucrat but an unelected
bureaucrat billionaire now gets all of
this power taking illegal control of
Treasury Department Payment Systems
according to a judge and having to have
that blocked by a judge because he's
using it to just cut off funds to
crucial people without the approval of
Congress but Trump says no I trust him
and the Department of Education is next
disaster then there's some hot mic audio
of Trudeau I'll show you if you haven't
heard it yet after this but he gets
asked about it and says yeah I really am
serious about the Canada 51st state
absurdity now the Prime Minister said
this weekend to a group of Canadian
businessman he was a private meeting he
said um that your wish for Canada to be
the 51st state is a quote real thing is
it a real thing yeah it is I think
Canada would be much better off being a
51st state because we lose $200 billion
a year with Canada and I'm not going to
let that happen it's too much why are we
paying why is Brett bear smiling like
that what is what is what let's see here
what what is so clever
Brett what is so clever
Brett
gosh you're nailing it dumy is is it a
real thing yeah it is I think Canada
would be much better off being a 51st
state because we lose $200 billion a
year with Canada and I'm not going to
let that happen it's too much why are we
paying $200 billion a year essentially
in subsidy to Canada now if they're a
51st state I don't mind doing it know
the prime we
aren't we
aren't all right let's do it we'll be
back let me play something I already put
in a different segment where we explain
this as a basic concept okay so let's go
back to the Whiteboard Trump constantly
asserts as if there's some money they
owe us that anytime we have a trade
deficit with a country we're being
ripped off the inherently trade deficit
means someone's ripping us off we're
paying them money what is a trade
deficit it's just the difference between
what we buy in stuff from their country
versus what they buy of stuff from our
country but to imagine this let's let's
put it in terms of people let's imagine
the United States is just a guy and
actually because the United States has
more people than uh Canada let's imagine
it's a family of people
okay um so a family of people and they
live next to these are only people in
the whole universe that we're exploring
they live next to another person who
says a boat and this person has let's
say $1 in the bank these people have $10
in the
bank both parties here make stuff okay
so stuff they're making stuff this guy's
making
stuff and they can buy from each other
because they're next to each other right
do you think that this family will be
able to buy more stuff from this guy
than this guy is able to buy from this
family well for one there's more people
here so they'll have more needs so
probably right and they have more money
to buy
stuff does that make sense if they made
a bunch of things stuff of things things
of stuff then this guy he only has $1 he
can't spend all that Dollar on stuff
from us but we have or this family has
$10 so they have a lot more they can use
to buy from that guy and just because
let's say they spend $5 and he spends
his whole dollar and now there's a
deficit of $4 we've spent four more on
buying stuff from him than he bought
from us doesn't mean he's ripping us off
we just have more money to spend and
more people to spend it and more
consumers that you know now I'm getting
away from the analogy but like let's say
they wanted to sell to each
other they also have more money to buy
of his stuff to then sell to each other
so then bringing back that to ity $27
trillion is the GDP of the United States
$2 trillion is the GDP of Canada we have
a lot more people and money so it stands
the reason that we'll have more wealth
to buy stuff from them and then often
it's selling to each other buy pieces of
products a part of a supply chain from
them and just because I think the the uh
trade deficit is like $80 billion
Trump's always misstating it but it's
like $80 billion just because we happen
to buy more of their stuff than they do
of ours doesn't mean anyone's being
ripped off it mostly just means we have
a larger economy that's more money to
spend and that does sometimes include
more money to spend abroad in importing
products from other countries that then
become a part of stuff we're selling to
each other there it is and we're back
from the little whiteboard session I did
want to mention too we'll see in the
full interview but from what was shown
in the Super Bowl
preview bear would just not push him on
things oh why do you think you can just
shutter agencies and organizations
within our government without approval
of Congress and with no real
justification with no warning as lives
are literally going to be
lost because life-saving
medicine because life-saving treatments
are just put on hold hey why uh why you
doing that and Trump goes because of all
the fraud and bear goes you you found
fraud and Trump goes yeah billions and
billions and then and then it moves on
what as in what fraud CU every time you
name a specific example it's a lie a
complete andal lie here's the audio that
was asked about from Trudeau Excell
um talking about absorbing
and they very
so trau heard saying there it is a real
thing Trump I guess sees resources that
could be grabbed up and there is a a
fear that we could see some sort of
incursion or exploitative behavior to
try to leverage this when it's just not
happening meanwhile as a telegraph
reports Donald Trump may just cost
Canada's conservatives the election so
the conservatives are wildly favored but
Trump's recent actions are causing we
won't get into this now but a scenario
that is very rare but it's causing a
little bit of a
coalescing around the Liberals that
could harm the conservative uh party
which is an interesting little ironic
outcome of all of this then listen to
his very nuanced and thoughtful take on
who's going to win the Super Bowl you
really have a great quarterback the
other team the quarterback really knows
how to win he is a great great
quarterback so game prediction I I hate
to do it I just say that I've watched
this great quarterback who has by the
way a phenomenal wife okay she's I feel
like he was told that Patrick Mahomes is
a great quarterback and that's the only
phrase he can remember what well they
have a great quarterback so the team
what's the team's name the the team with
the great quarterback has a great
quarterback and frankly when you have a
great quarterback that great quarterback
could lead you to victory because
they're a great quarterback and
football's all about great quarterbacks
and great but his wife I love his wife I
hate Taylor Swift but I love his wife by
the way a phenomenal wife okay she's a
trump fan she's a mega fan so I happen
to love her okay but she's a great
person I watched her being inter I said
well that's pretty good uh but she's
great and he's great I guess you have to
say that when a quarterback wins as much
as his one I have to go with Kansas City
I have to go with Kansas City at the
same time uh Philadelphia has a
fantastic it's going to be just a great
game finally listen Okay well they they
do have a great quarterback
so I don't know that's my
analysis we we'll just have to see and
uh
and that's what we have so far of
Trump's Super Bowl interview we'll
probably if there's notable things
review the full thing once it comes out
on Monday but no signs of changing
course actually the only course that
they're on is to further to think about
the disaster that's already been caused
by the usaid
shuttering to think about that going to
the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
the NIH the Department of
Education and who knows knows what else
he mentioned the military in that clip I
forgot to even address that which is
some I think would go yeah maybe they
could find those cuts that we talking
about think about how Elon Musk has this
unrestrained access to
information in the treasury Department
all of our private information and we're
thinking what and a judge is saying
that's not
allowed imagine him going and grabbing
that in with military
information oh but but he's not getting
a paycheck so it must just be his Pat
itic
Duty share your thoughts in the comments
and uh Happy Super Bowl to everybody
