Related: About this forumLast Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO) - Elon Musk (Season Finale)
John Oliver discusses Elon Musk, the influence he has over more than just his businesses, and the perfect place for him and Mark Zuckerberg to finally have that cage match.
And here's a "bootleg" version of the show which includes announcement of recent news events including: The House authorized an impeachment inquiry of President Biden; Israel continued to bomb Gaza despite overwhelming international opposition; Rudy Giuliani was ordered to pay $148 million to the Georgia election workers he defamed, yet he reacted with no contrition by continuing to defame them outside of court; the show's New Zealand "Bird of the Century" giant puppet is being flown to New Zealand; fruit cake; and the Last Week Tonight shows that were never made due to the writers' strike. It won't last long, as usual:

(3,549 posts)3. I love Oliver, and your posting these, but I just couldn't finish this one.
Just couldn't stand hearing any more about that creep. Looking forward to February.

(255,525 posts)4. I know, I was disappointed, too, with his last topic of the year.
Even some of the silly topics that he said we missed because of the months-long writers' strike, so they were never made, sounded better to me.
