He says California is gerrymander. Steve, you don't know shit about California and you shouldn't be running for governor because your stupid and a shill for Fox News and the republic party.

Here's the facts:
1. California's redistricting is controlled by a commission consisting of five Democrats, five republicans, and four independents. So neither the Democrats or republicans can gerrymander Congressional or any other districts in California. This commission came about as a constitutional imitative approved by California voters in 2010.

2. According to the California Secretary of State, the voter registration, as of November 2024, in California is as follows:
Democrats: 10,355,081
republicans: 5,638,209
Other: 6,602,369
Total registration: 22,595,659

So registered republicans doesn't represent 40% of voters in California but more like 25%.

3. Republicans dominate in the more rural counties which have less population than larger counties like Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Fransisco. Democrats live in larger numbers in these counties and since Congressional districts comprise approximately 700,000 people it's logical higher population areas will generate more Congressional districts than smaller populated areas.

4. The votes in California for president in 2024 was"
Harris: 9,276,179 58.5%
Trump: 6,081,697 38.3%
https://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/sov/2024-general/sov/complete-sov.pdf see page 6
So while the Orange Turd received nearly 40% of the vote that didn't carry over to republican Congressional candidates. People, statewide, voted for Democratic candidates. Voters rejected republican candidates in all but nine districts.

So in summation, Steve Hilton don't know Jack, but he doesn't know and spout Shit!
