1. I think that Romano has a great point.

Trump's relationships are always transactional. Why should his supposed relationship with God be any different? He hasn't read the Bible and doesn't know that you can't buy your way into Heaven. Trump thinks he can cut a deal with God if he has some leverage!
I think Trump is dying. I think he's finally really ill. Or it just could be wishful thinking on my part. I despise this man with every fiber of my being and look forward to his big ugly funeral complete with a golden casket and golf clubs dropped on it by the mourners. I just want it to be natural so no one has to go to jail or be shot to get rid of him!

3. The "wants to get into heaven" remark is indeed out of chracter.

And doctrinally, that is not am "eyes on the prize" goal - the way to get in includes seemingly unrelated things like "Go and sell everything you have and give the money to the poor, and then come , follow me" - and some other things are mentioned which no MAGA and certainly not the Apricot Antichrist would ever thin of doing. And it's really an internal journey anyway. Visible actions are only peripheral. My guess is that TSF could not make it into purgatory, let alone heaven. He has never shown any signs of being able to accept and learn from correction.
