The plot was written about in the "Times, (Paper of record) and then, after a couple of days, not another word about it.

You might also enjoy General Butler's book, "War Is A Racket."

General Butler, MoH holder (twice) and the namesake of the USMC installation in Okinawa, is highly regarded by many current and former military folks. The consumate warrior, he was a man of principle. One of the Veterans for Peace chapters is named for him. Clearly, he took his oath seriously and, for that, he is one of my role models. Yeah, I know that I have models that include Butler, King Jr, Roy Tobin and my parents among others...it's a bit messy and complicated, but I've never had trouble figuring out who I should pay attention to. I trust that some other vets and current service folks also get this and will make the good decision when the need is greatest. Cheers, OSD
