Trump DISHONORS All Military Members! - Glenn Kirschner

On January 6, 2021, Ashley Babbitt was a rioter and insurrectionist who was shot as she attempted to climb through a busted window of a barricaded door leading to the Speaker's Lobby as members of Congress were being evacuated from the U.S. Capitol. While she was in the process of committing crimes by trying to breach the Capitol, she was shot and killed.

Even though she was an Air Force veteran, Babbitt was rightfully denied military honors at her funeral . . . until now. The Air Force just reversed course (undoubtedly at the direction of Donald Trump), and will now give Babbitt full military honors.

This horrific decision DISHONORS all of the men and women of the United States military, each of whom took an oath to protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. - Glenn Kirschner - 08/28/2025.

Vance was a Marine.
Would he proudly attend and accept such an action?
I am sure he would.

Trump dishonored all POWs with his 'captured' comment about John McCain.

Arlington is scared ground, American heroes are buried there. I can see any reason why they would accept an insurrectionist who was attempting to overturn a legitimate American election...

...everyone knows about the eleventh of September 2001. American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon as part of an overall terrorist attack. I despise terrorists. They are the lowest form of life.

Passengers and Pentagon workers were killed, 184 of them. Arlington National Cemetery is next to the Pentagon. There's a memorial in Arlington facing the Pentagon to the victims of the attack. There are remains of 5 people, among others, not identified buried at that memorial. Four were Pentagon employees/service members and one was a passenger. The one passenger, a terrorist attack victim, is now the youngest person ever buried at Arlington. Her name is Dana Falkenberg. There's 3 year old little girl buried at Arlington!

Now trump wants to honor what is essentially a terrorist.

I hope the demons of hell rise and drag him to where he belongs.

I was unaware of that and I have visited Arlington. I guess I visited the usual spots, the Kennedy graves, the memorial to those on the Challenger, but next time I have the privilege to be there, I will certainly look for the graves of these American heroes.

In 1948, Air Force Chief of Staff General Hoyt Vandenberg and the general’s wife Gladys, regularly attended funeral services at Arlington National cemetery.
Sometimes, a military chaplain was the only person present at these services. Both husband and wife felt that a member of the Air Force family should be present at these funerals. Before long, Gladys began to invite other officer’s wives. Over time, a group of women from the Officer’s Wives Club formed specifically for the purpose.
