Donald Trump had a meltdown on Truth Social this week about what he called “rumors” of Late Night talk show host Seth Meyers receiving a contract extension. Trump attacked Meyers personally while mentioning these so-called rumors, without ever realizing that this was news that happened a year ago. There are no new reports about Meyers getting a new contract, so it is entirely possible – and likely – that Trump was having a dementia moment where he “remembered” something but his brain interpreted it as new information.
