Interesting how NYT, which is corporate, loves to "explain" what's happening to other Big Corps, as if this couldn't also happen to publishers.
But I get the point and about the change in capitalism. And my historical take on this discussion is that Big Corp voted this guy in, and in return he now operates as more of a mafia protection racket setup, like…”nice business you got here, too bad if something happens to it, but hey, let me help you out with all that”
— so the felon & military get to “invest” and also get a cut of all corp-to-corp action & “investments.” The felon and rethugs move to own percentages of those corps who thought they’d owned rethugs...

I'm as anti-corporate insurgency as anyone, but this is a reversal "deal insurgency" by Trump. Why? On the Pretext the "US and taxpayer are getting ripped off." The larger economic benefit from corporations was the previous public expectation; but now the Trump (and his people) take over with "okay, but..." control and leverage on these companies under the additional claim of "national security."

Do I get the key points of this? Maybenot. But the logic of what Trump's doing seems clear.
