and (while not a certainty), tRump might do that if he believes he will be guaranteed he would not face prosecution with a circus display of his illegal sexual escapades. This a guy who wants veneration and facing such a process would air all his dirty laundry and foreclose any possible chance of that.

Johnston is so good. At around the 20-minute mark, he very clearly explains what’s so odious about the Republican playbook: the veneration of objects and abstract ideas over human life. It’s one of the best and most straightforward summations I’ve seen. I really appreciate his moral clarity. Thanks for posting.
