When George is listing the comparisons to Hitler's takeover of Germany, she has to try to find something that isn't quite the same, ie. the takeover of state police and governments. She takes solace in this, but she totally misses the point that everything doesn't have to be the same. After a while, she came around to how horrible everything is, but still seems reluctant to me.

George saying we live in a "Narcissistic country" is spot on. The country is starting to mirror the insanity of the Narcissist-in-Chief and it's going to be a long hard slog to make it healthy again - if that's even possible.
