CBS News is F'd.

After Colbert I quit watching CBS except for his show until it ends. As far as the news division, never again. A once great icon in journalistic integrity is now nothing better than newsmax.

on CBS, because they were trying to attempt to mostly do facts on issues. The other networks, NBC, ABC, FOX were all leaning heavily, if not completely to the right, and excluding anything from the left.

In 1958, Edward R. Murrow gave a speech at Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) and this speech warned about the corrosive effects that commercialization had at that time on the news division and would have in the future. This was his "Wires and Lights In A Box" speech. He was fired from CBS not long after giving this speech. Edward R. Murrow was prescient.
