The shutdown may impact the ability of states to issue SNAP benefits, if the shutdown drags on. The program is not being cut off.

Did you have time to listen to the video? Elizabeth explains all this in the report.True, not 100% with some safety measures in place but indeed much will be reduced...or even eliminated.
