4. What made me REALLY happy was that we had zero drive bys rolling coal.

The protests we go to are in a business district in St. Louis, MO about a couple miles long with sidewalks on either side. It's a safer place to protest and still be seen. When we have gone in the past there's always some MAGA idiots rolling coal. This time--nada! Also, although there were fewer people than last time only about a mile of protesters, (mostly due to heavy rainfall and storms,) there were lots more cars that honked and waved as they did a drive by. It was so heartening! AND many of the cars had decorations against Trump! Most of St. Louis is more blue than red, but there are still lots of Trump faithfuls. So it felt good--in spite of the rainfall, to stand up for our country!

The one I attended had no incidents, no fuck-ups, no negativity whatsoever. Just a load of peaceful people showing their opposition to the donald. And lots of honks from cars passing by.

It was encouraging and reassuring.

A woman was arrested in Myrtle Beach SC for pointing a gun out of her car window at protestors. She was handcuffed in her Trump shirt, spent the night in jail, and was given a $100,000 cash bond this morning.

8. We must keep in mind, the goal is THE INSURRECTION ACT

Everything Trump is doing domestically is intended to push us to the breaking point where we start to see violence at these protests. And that will create the pretense for Trump using the Insurrection Act.

It did not work yesterday, but that remains the goal. Trump will keep pushing. Our judges have been standing firm. We must not take the bait. We cannot give any judge any evidence to rule in favor of the Insurrection Act.
