10 Percent of U.S. Flights Grounded Due to Shutdown as Trump Refuses to Pay Air Traffic Controllers - FIVE MINUTE NEWS

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford announced an unprecedented 10% reduction in flights at 40 of the busiest airports nationwide.

Why the cut? The ongoing government shutdown has caused severe staffing shortages and fatigue among unpaid air traffic controllers, creating safety concerns in the national airspace. Starting Friday, the flight capacity reduction will be phased in to relieve pressure on the system and prevent major disruptions. - 11/06/2025.

What a pathetic, loser's dream of an administration. America's def hit rock-bottom mainly because of the higher than I thought % of hateful, spiteful, jealous and racist bigots. Hopefully, the last election round has brought back some sanity, decency and caring political leadership. And, of course, it's the Democratic Party that leads the way!
