1. In the last week alone ...

I've seen fake Rick Wilson, Fake Paul Krugman, Michio Kaku, Barack Obama, and a few others pooping up on Youtube. Even had a cousin send me a few links not knowing they are AI. Now it's out of control. Not getting .... but is.

2. I have seen the fake Rick Wilson videos, there are also fake Rachel Maddow videos. Now I know how to properly report

them.

and the AI is only going to get better. Truth has become irrelevant and obsolete. I fear for future generations.

6. A Way to Counter Deep Fake Videos?

I reported a fake Rick Wilson video on You Tube but it's true it is like whack-a-mole now so reporting won't work in the long run as more platforms spit this content out. I'm not very tech savvy but could there be a way to "watermark" genuine content from providers with a uniquely moving stamp or code along with their presentations that would authenticate them? It would be something not able to be easily replicated by the fakers, perhaps changed frequently. Am I wrong about the technical feasibility of such a thing?

Consultant to public schools. Public schools were responsible for preventing pornography from getting into the schools. It was a losing battle. Schools spent tens of thousands of dollars to install a filter to block porn. When schools started at 8:00 AM, all the porn sites were blocked before lunch; the sites had moved their URLs to new locations, even to a new country. It was a battle that schools never won. The only way to stop this kind of abuse is for the GOVERNMENT TO INTERVENE, which it never did. I retired 12 years ago, so I'm not sure what the status is now.

Then along came Photoshop, and it took years for people to learn how to recognize a photoshopped photo.

Now we have AI, and it will require government intervention to stop the abuse, which they will not because the politician will be paid off to NOT ADD RESTRICTIONS.

It is still all about the money.
