BTC: Donald Trump shocks the world by criticizing news coverage that doesn't favor him. This is just another day.
If Donald Trump has taught us anything these last 10 months, it's that jumbo jets are perfectly normal gifts from foreign nations. Ankles are totally supposed to look that way. And most of all, when it comes to the news, haters going to hate.

Reporter: Mr. President, you said you would have no problem with releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd off the coast of Venezuela. Secretary Hegseth now says…
Trump: That's You said that. I didn't say that. This is ABC fake news.

BTC: I love that Donald Trump treats the press as characters in a movie only he can follow. You see that one? That's Lyin’ Brian, who's in love with Crazy Megan, but so is Slapadopoulos. So, the president is ever so politely disputing the fact that he ever said he'd have no problem releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd. And the unfortunate part is there's no way to actually know the truth. Because ever since Donald Trump began his second term in office, newsrooms around the world have decided to no longer save their footage. You see, when an event happens live, it's transmitted through a series of satellites to viewers. But then immediately afterwards, any footage containing any part of that event is burned, then placed inside a biohazard safe container, only to be taken into the woods by an unpaid intern and instantly peed on. Oh. Oh, wait. I'm wrong. Oh, here it is.

Reporter: Mr. President, you released video of that first boat strike on September 2nd, but not the second video. Will you release video of that strike so that the American people can see for themselves whatever?
Trump: I don't know what they have, but whatever they have, we'd certainly release, no problem.

BTC: What a surprise. At this point, reporters should just walk around with TVs on their heads playing the sound bites that Donald Trump claims don't exist. But regardless of who definitely said what when, the president responded to whether or not he'll release the full video with the standard gracious rapport.

Trump: Didn't I just tell you that…
Reporter: You said that it was up to Secretary…
Trump: …obnoxious reporter in the whole place? Let me just tell you, you are an obnoxious a terrible actually a terrible reporter and it's always the same thing with you.

BTC: It's always the same thing with you. Donald Trump contradicts himself. Donald Trump denies previous statements. Donald Trump's administration may have committed war crimes. Lady, let it go already. Look, Donald Trump targeting his enemies is nothing new. But it sure feels like he's accelerated to warp speed today, considering this morning's true social post about the 60 Minutes interview with Marjorie Taylor Greene. In it, he wrote, "Washed up Trump-hating 60 Minutes ‘correspondent’ Leslie Stahl, who still owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show with serious conviction that Hunter Biden's LAPTOP FROM HELL was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself. (TOTALLY PROVEN WRONG), interviewed a very poorly prepared Traitor who in her confusion, made many really stupid statements. My real problem with the show, however, wasn't the low IQ traitor. It was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount would allow a show like this to air. THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE OLD OWNERSHIP, they are no better than the old ownership who just paid me millions of dollars for FAKE REPORTING about your favorite president, ME!”

Phew. Thank God he added that me for clarity at the end. Otherwise, people would have assumed he was talking about President Bartlett. And Trump's hire wasn't merely focused on the media. He also saved a little hate for his former ride or die who's now achieved rotten die status.

CBS Reporter: So the president responded to Green's interview with 60 Minutes in a lengthy Truth Social post this morning, saying in part, quote, "She sort of reminds me of a rotten apple. Marjorie is not America first or MAGA because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person."

BTC: A very dumb person. A sentiment that Leslie Stahl seemed to agree with in her green intro.

She became famous, some would say infamous, with her incendiary insults and belief in conspiracy theories such as 9/11 was an inside job and that the shooting at the Parkland School in Florida was staged.

BTC: Some people take issue with her belief that the earth is flat and Bill Gates has microchipped the globe. Call her what she is, a batshit conspiracy theorist who achieved the house seat by riding the coattails of our nation's top batshit conspiracy theorist. And her only redeeming quality apparently is that she has a soft spot for rape victims. But the most surprising part of Marjorie Taylor Greeen's interview was how surprised she was by Trump's actions.

MTG: After President Trump called me a traitor, I got a pipe bomb threat on my house and then I got uh several direct death threats on my son. I got response back from President Trump that I will keep private, but it wasn't very nice.
Stahl: Give us a hint of what the president said.
MTG: Uh, it was extremely unkind.

BTC: You don't say. You're telling me Donald Trump didn't send you an edible arrangement to make things right? No FedEx of an apology bear. Not even one of his handprints to say he's sorry. I am shocked. Once again, it's nice to see one of society's most vitriolic individuals take issue with the actual consequences of incendiary language now that it affects her family. And I'm sure a lot of other folks are happy for her, too. You know, like the 9/11 victim's families, the survivors of school shootings that she called false flags, and the victims who suffered during California's wildfires, the one Marjorie claims were induced by Jewish space lasers. Oh, and also those police officers who were attacked on January 6th.

MTG: Just finished with our meetings here at the White House this afternoon. We got had a great planning session for our January 6 objection. We aren't going to let this election be stolen by Joe Biden and the Democrats. President Trump won by a landslide.

BTC: Gee, if only some of those people protecting the US capital have been related to Marjorie, perhaps we might have been able to avoid the whole insurrection. The reality is no amount of money, deference, or loyalty will ever be enough for Donald Trump. And Marjorie Taylor Greene has somehow just discovered that she thought paring Trump's lies, lambasting his rivals, and even letting him get to first base was enough to stay in his good graces when she committed that horrible sin of siding with rape victims. But as she somehow is just learning, nothing will ever be enough for this man. CBS News thought they could get Trump off their back with settling with him to the tune of $16 million. ABC tried to do the same for $15 million. Law firms, universities, tech companies, CEOs, all paid what they believed would be a big enough fee to be left alone. But it will never happen because for that to be accomplished, you must pledge loyalty to Dear Leader, and you have to pledge it forever. You think conservative media outlets are safe?

The FAKE SPIN is so bad for Republicans that it is hard to believe that we WIN... Fox should either get on board or get off board, NOW. But at this point, it just doesn't make any difference to me.”

BTC: Yeah, it doesn't make an ounce of difference to the guy who spends every waking moment of his presidency monitoring how he's portrayed in the media. He's just chill like that. Laidback vibes. In fact, MAGA actually stands for mellow and grooving along. Fox News, the friendliest network a president could ever ask for, is still not enough for Trump. Honestly, Fox could air a prime time special where they literally just blow him for an hour, and afterwards he'd post, "Horrible Fox News spent too much time on the shaft, forgot all about the balls." Donald Trump's desire for complete fealty, total servitude, has been on full display since the moment he ran for office. And every politician who backed him knew exactly the type of person they were supporting. So, my apologies to Marjorie Taylor Greene for my complete lack of sympathy here. You are not a victim. You are not some innocent bystander on the receiving end of Trump's wrath. You are a toxic purveyor of misinformation and hate that has poisoned our culture. Or to put that in simpler terms, you are
