If I told my Dad and my grandmother about the devastating news every day now, they would think that I'd lost it, and they experienced some pretty tough times, wars and the depression. I often wonder how everyday Americans can stand it, but we know that not everyone is paying attention like we are, and there are days that I almost wish that I was one of them, but at least we're prepared, doing what we can to fight against the worst of it.

5. In an odd way I am thinking about DU's Elleng's passing away

and I can stop thinking, "At least she won't have to endure this BS any longer".

6. I found news of her death pretty shocking since she posted recently and seemed fine

And I've also thought of another DUer who I was close to for many years who passed away earlier this year and I had the opposite reaction. They never got to learn the end of this nightmarish story we're living through right now. But you may be right, elleng and my friend no longer have to deal with the news that the rest of us are facing every day. However, I still have hope that the rest of us will survive to experience the end of the felon-in-chief and his minions. *sigh*
