Contrast President Obama to Herschel Walker
President Obama's intelligence and oratory style scares the daylights out of White Republicans. They fear intelligent, educated, and accomplished Black people. A good number of Republicans (see the SCOTUS) are eugenicists who believe that all African Americans are inherently inferior. So, when someone like President Obama who breaks their long held beliefs of superiority that brings out the fear in them. How dare he be as smart, or even smarter, than they are. This is why Trump demanded to see Obama's college transcripts.
OTOH, Herschel Walker is a prime example of what White Republicans think is a good Black person. They know he's unfit and unqualified to be a US Senator, but he entertains them. His lack of intelligence confirms their feelings of superiority and makes them feel comfortable. Herschel is a throw back to the Minstrel shows era.
For anyone here who doesn't think that Trump could win in 2024.
This is Obama from 2016:

This is why the Dems won the Senate. A comparison of two Senatorial campaign ads.
I am happy and relieved that I live in a nation where Chuck Schumer and his party won a critical election, and Blake Masters lost.
Blake Masters' ad for the Senate:

Media: Dems keep control of the Senate. Here's why this is bad news for Biden and the Democrats.
Soon, we will see Dems in disarray stories.
Twitter's blue check policy may be a blessing to Russian trolls
The new owners subscription policy $8 a month for that coveted blue checkmark doesnt start until after the midterms, but the national security world is already crafting doomsday scenarios.
The dangers are much more worrisome than some of the threats of warfare from foreign adversaries, argued GLENN GERSTELL, a senior adviser at the Center for Strategic and International Studies who served as general counsel of the National Security Agency and Central Security Service from 2015 to 2020.
And while midterms get a pass, the lax verification policy comes as political tensions rise ahead of the next presidential election cycle. Thats a prime opportunity for foreign adversaries to spread disinformation and its more likely that people will share information that comes from verified accounts.
I was wondering about the national security implications of this new verification system. It opens up a Pandora's box of national and global security concerns. Anyone can impersonate anyone else provided they pay the $8. This gives propagandists a huge tool.
Now, I'm not saying that Blake Masters is a serial killer, but....
Maybe the police should visit his home and have their dogs take a sniff around for bodies. Just saying.

Contrast that with Schumer's ad:
How much medical debt could Musk have cancelled with the $44B he spent buying Twitter?
Approx. 22.5% Imagine that for a second. He could have wiped out indebtedness for thousands of people who are struggling to pay their medical bills.
