The really big issue that everyone is missing in the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard dog story

They're making another Pirates of the Caribbean movie?!?! For chrissakes, haven't they beaten that franchise into the ground? And why Johnny? When is enough enough? Come on dude. You got enough money. Work on better projects.

Voted for Hillary this morning.

Proud to be a part of history. Something I will tell the grandkids. Now all I have to do is get some grandkids.

A lot of Bernie's supporters have only had Obama as president.

If you're 28 years old or younger, you've only had Obama as president since you've been an adult. Sure, you were alive when Bush II was president, but you were under the care of your parents. You're only real experience has been with Obama.

You have no memory of the Dems losing 5 out of 6 presidential elections from 1968 to 1988. You have no memory of 12 years of Reagan/Bush. No memory of Reagan's 49 state sweep in 1984. No memory of Mike Dukakis' miserable campaign in 1988. No memory of Bill Clinton running for president when Bush I had a 91% approval rating after the Gulf War. No real memory of the 2000 Florida recount.

In sum, you have no memory of what the Dems have had to overcome just to get us to this point, and now they can't understand why the Dems aren't further left. The successes of Obama aren't enough for them or is seen as a pittance because they have not lived through the pain.

The primaries have become personal to Bernie and his supporters

Yes, back in 2008, that too got very personal, but not on this scale. Sanders is basically calling Hillary corrupt, and his supporters are taking his cue even further. Sanders and his supporters now believe that any opposition to him is either due to corruption or a rigged system.

I'm starting to doubt if this rift can be healed before the general election. In fact, some of these Sanders supporters may vote for a Cruz or Trump in order to blow up the system and usher in a Liberal utopia in 2020.

So, who plays Donald Trump in the movie about this campaign?

I'm thinking Robert De Niro, but what are your thoughts?

Party nominating rules process have been in place for decades.

If you don't agree with them, then maybe you should join the party and work to change the rules. Democracy requires putting in a little effort.
