Raven
Raven's JournalI wonder what RBG is thinking these days.
Imagine being 85 and feeling that you can't retire. In my mind, no matter how much you love your work, it would be horrible.
Drip, drip drip. Brett Kavanaugh will never have any peace. We will haunt his dreams.
One affidavit at a time.
Flake needs to change his vote.n/t
Susan, read his yearbook entry. Then read it again. I don't know anyone in my life
who has ever written such filth. You are clearly hanging around with the wrong people.
If you're a Republican Senator, I guess you would have to be near death to vote your conscience.
Jeff Flake has been made a fool of by his own party and the President. Susan Collins is going to be primaried anyway by some right wing nutcase (like the Governor) no matter how she votes. Murkowski probably will lose her Energy Committee chairmanship which she may feel will hurt her state, but by voting for Kav, she will hurt women and native Alaskans. Of the three, Flake has the least to lose politically but with all three, it comes down to decency and conscience.
When was the last time a SCOTUS candidate or a candidate
for a cabinet position was voted on before the FBI background check was completed? I can't think of a instance.
We all are Chris Ford. She's not alone anymore.
I'm not just a spectator anymore. I'm taking this personally as are many women I know and that's a real problem for Republicans.
I think this is worth reading.

Amy Klobuchar and the pregnant refugee...the way Kavanaugh
treated them, as different as they are, set off all my alarms. He had a long knife out for Klobuchar today after she mentioned that her father was an alcoholic...he needled her, hit below the belt...went for what he thought would be her weak spot...tried to gratutiously hurt her. Then there was the young pregnant girl that he sent into bureaucratic hell to try to prevent her from having an abortion knowing all the time that she had a right to have one. For some reason these two things have joined together in my mind and tell me that this man is a really, really bad and dangerous man.
I got the impression that Kavanaugh thinks that
everyone drinks like he does. In fact, I suspect that he thinks all men have treated women like he has.
