Aristus
Aristus's JournalMy clinic manager is really starting to piss me off.
Bad enough he's invented a personality conflict with my best staff member in an attempt to get her fired. Now he's sending us patients from the mainstream clinic who should really be sent home instead.
He's trying to boost productivity, but he's doing by sending us patients who don't really need professional medical attention. Now I'm doing the kind of clinical medicine that could best be described as kissing the patients' boo-boos to make them better.
He cares more about the quantity of medical encounters than the quality of medicine we practice. It's what happens when you put someone with no medical training in charge of people who do have it.
I'm just hoping he leaves or gets fired soon. I've outlasted seven clinic managers prior to him.
This morning at the gym, the trainer told us to get a pair of dumbells.
When he looked at mine, he asked: "What are those? 25's? 30's?"
I wanted to reply: "Oh no. This one is Eric. And this one is Donald Jr."
But I didn't...
Welcome Aboard Colonial Airways Flight Two.
"Good eventide, my lords, ladies, and gentleman. My name is Captain Sir Frederick Canning Craighead, Esq., and HM has granted me the royal privilege of acting as pilot for the aeroplane upon which we shall travel to HM American Colonies and points West. I beg most humbly that all in this esteemed company will remain seated for the duration of our journey, and with your restraining lap-girdle secured all the while. The serving staff shall, upon the tolling of the bell, commence service of tea, champagne, and scones to all and sundry. The fair winds of Providence hath blessed us by speeding us at the tail with greater haste and expediency than was thought previously. And we expect a swift and safe journey for all. May Almighty God bless and protect you. I remain, dear lords, ladies and gentlemen, your humble and obedient servant. Many thanks to you all."
The Trumpanzees must be thinking: "Did we have airports in 1776 under Obama? NO!
Gawd bless are Prezdint!"
